46,718 polling stations
- 60,000 ballot boxes will be opened at 11,206 counting centres
- 5,000 tonnes of elections material has been shipped to the
country on more than 50 flights from South Africa at cost $50 million.
- 1,200 tonnes is the weight of the ballot papers alone
- $422 Million is what the election is costing ; largely funded
by the EU.
- 17,500 UN forces in the country, costing $1.1 Billion per Year.
