Ephrata
church: We are a community church. We believe that there is hope for our future. The Lord
have a good plan for us. With the Bible as our touchstone, we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all. We have fellowship,
and we are a dynamic and inclusive, charismatic church. We have a good youth choir singing African, Congolese music, and our
children dance group is well-known in the city. We are dedicated to give support to African’s churches, sending every
year missions to Africa. Pastor Hubert got a degree Bsc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychology, therefore he can offer you the
opportunity to talk about your spiritual, emotional problems or feelings in a confidential & peaceful environment. English

On Wednesday 11 March 2009- Esperant Kayonda – the winner of school Idol
School Idol is a nationally organised competition
which will feature the winner recording in a professional studio and singing live on the BBC Children In Need programme in
November. The Smithills
heat of School Idol featured all the finalists from the school’s highly successful 2009 X Factor final earlier in the
year together with a number of new acts invited to participate by Mr Gibbs and Miss Flemming. Whilst the judges deliberated
as to who had won, once again Vogue took to the stage to sing two songs, one of which was their new single release Twilight.
When the judges had finished their deliberations and all the audience votes had also been counted too, the two winning acts
chosen to participate in the regional final to be held later in the year were singers Dena Poorkhataie and Esperant Kayonda.
Dena sang Black Velvet as superbly as ever whilst Esperant sang Alleluja with the passion and feeling that have become his
trademark. The judges were so amazed at the standard of the Smithills heat that they also chose to put through a third act
too, the rock group Counterpoint. Once
again our school hall was packed and a great night was enjoyed by equal numbers of pupils and adults in the audience.

Rev Ricky is a man of God with a great testimony. We

Transported to Morton F. Plant Hospital
in Clearwater, Dr. R. Clinton Pittman was the neurosurgeon on duty that evening, where I underwent surgery for over 7 hours.
The doctor removed lead and bone fragments imbedded in my brain up to 3 inches deep! Later, the doctor told my mother, that
‘’if’’ I recovered I would be paralyzed, have severe brain damage, loss of motor skills, balance and
coordination.
GOD IS GOOD
Healed! No more paralysis, brain
damage, epilepsy, loss of equilibrium and no more asthma!
